The Training for Care Providers of the Punjab Social Welfare Department convened dedicated
professionals including superintendents, child protection officers, and institutional staff for an intensive learning
experience on “The Fundamentals of Institutional Care.” This impactful session aimed to strengthen the capacity
of care providers working in residential facilities to ensure the safety, development, and well-being of
institutionalized children. Through expert-led sessions, interactive group work, and real-world case discussions,
participants were equipped with essential knowledge and practical tools to foster a nurturing, rights-based, and
child-centered care environment within state-run institutions.
